ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Besides being a working artist, Ed is currently the Director of Fine Art Education for Canson, Arches and Royal Talens and has more than twenty five years as a art materials consultant. His previous employment also includes MacPherson's, Koh-I-Noor, Lafranc & Bourgeois, and Grumbacher.

Ed has lectured in over 150 art schools in North America on materials and techniques and conducts workshops on color mixing,pen & ink drawing techniques, paper evaluation, painting, drawing and composition. He has published articles in The Artist Magazine, Watercolor Magic, Art Materials Today, was contributing editor for Palette Talk, and has been acknowledged in more than a dozen art books for his contributuions.

I am currently working on a drawing and paiting materials and techniques book to be published by orthe Light (F+W Media) in 2013.

Ed's formal art education was received at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA and the Baum School of Art in Allentown, PA.
